My name is Martin Francis Trollope. In December 2020, I opened Harbourmaster Productions Recording Studio in Prospect House, South Shields, where I offer a variety of services for people - recording, mixing, mastering, session playing, tuition (etc etc).

I began drumming for bands in around 2005 before finding my feet as a guitarist and songwriter. I developed an interest in recording in order to capture the sounds of my own bands and solo material.

Recording became more than just an interest, and I began working in a South Shields-based community recording studio. I worked with a huge range of artists from all ages and backgrounds, and from full-time professionals to people who had never set foot in a recording studio before.

Working with people from all walks of life helped me develop a reputation for creating a welcoming and supportive environment for recording sessions, which is something I am very proud of.

The studio allows me to continue producing emerging and established talent from across the North East while making sessions as accessible and affordable as I can.
